30 Lecture 1: Overview of risk assessment for endangered and threatened species
00 Lecture 2: Introduction to state-space models for PVA
30 Lecture 3: Introduction to the Kalman filter
30-11:00 Break
00-12:00 Computer Lab 1 & 2: Kalman filter estimation and estimation performance

00-1:00 Lunch

I am graduate student at UCSC with Marc Mangel. I am studying population ecology of fishes, particularly west coast rockfishes. I signed up for the course out of general interest in the methods.
